WHO WE ARE
Hu•mane, officially known as Humane Hairspace LLC is a multidisciplinary haircare studio located on the concourse level of The Metropolitan Building in heart of downtown Rochester, New York. Founded by Natalie Fox, the hairspace's dedication to inclusion drives the brands uniquely curated approach to haircare. Blending both Barbering services, and Salon services the hairspace strives to meet people where they are at with their hair goals.
MISSION
To overwrite the expectations of traditional salons and barbershops, with a more inclusive, diverse, and accessible HAIRSPACE that can meet the needs of all of its clientele.

The use of "Hu" in our name highlights our dedication to humanitarian pursuits, our community, and gender-neutrality. For many, haircare can be an uncomfortable experience perceived as a luxury service. A service that takes a back seat and is often overlooked when comparing it to food, medicine, and housing needs. With "Hu" at the forefront of our brand, inclusion & accessibility are where we differentiate from the grain.

The use of the word "Mane" in our name refers to the services that we provide, and that is haircare. Where many haircare facilities split their attention across hair, nails, cosmetics, and more, our attention is fixed on hair. From shaving, to color, keratin, regrowth, braiding, extensions, education, waxing and more, we got you covered with our focus on your individual haircare needs.
